Dan Ouellette is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and a Certified Anat Baniel Method NeuroMovement (ABMNM) Practitioner based out of Saskatoon. He has been in practice since 2005. His strong interest in the human body/mind is what drove him to become a therapist.
Since starting his practice, Dan has studied many different treatment modalities to help his clients with pain and movement difficulties. He has acquired hundreds of hours of continuing education and is now solely focused on The Anat Baniel Method. He is currently travelling on a regular basis to Henderson, Nevada to help assist in the Anat Baniel Method International training program.
Dan's personal journey includes his own struggle with various pain issues and also the experience he has had with his oldest daughter who has mild physical limitations on the right side of her body due to an in utero stroke.
Since his daughter was first diagnosed, Dan has been on a mission to find safe and effective treatment options for her. In his search he came across the Anat Baniel Method. This method has affected his daughter's life, and ultimately his entire family, in such a positive way that he is now solely focused on The Anat Baniel Method.
While Dan is extremely committed to helping healthy infants, children and adults with various pain issues and limitations, he also believes that helping an infant or child with special needs is the most rewarding thing he has been able to do professionally. He says:
"When I work with infants and children, not only is it a chance to have a profound impact on their life but it is also an opportunity to help a whole family to heal, feel better and move forward. Because of my own personal experience I believe that I can relate to families of children with special needs in a very meaningful way."
On a personal note, Dan has been married since 2002 and is a very proud father of three!
