Allie Jacobi is a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and certified Anat Baniel Method NeuroMovement (ABMNM) Practitioner. She graduated as an SLP from the University of Houston in 2011. She began working at in the area of acute care (stroke, acquired brain injury, neurological diseases etc.) in 2011 in Houston, TX and continued with the same population at Royal University Hospital in 2013. Her focus is in dysphagia and feeding in adults and pediatrics in addition to speech and language assessments. In 2016 she started her training to become an ABMNM Practitioner.
Allie and her husband Wyatt spent a lot of time searching for something to help their first child, Nash, who had a hypoxic brain injury before he was born. In 2014 they discovered ABM, and through their son’s success with the method, as well the success of a young stroke survivor she met at the ABM Center, Allie was inspired to take the training. She is continually amazed at the changes that it has made in her son’s life, and in turn hers. She is very excited to be able to offer that kind of hope and light to more families in her community. Allie lives in Saskatoon with her husband and their four children, and continues to work as an SLP while managing her private ABM practice. |
